"Shakespear Swapna Novke" by H.S.Shivaprakash Directed by Mime Ramesh

On World Theater Day 27th March 2008, GPIER, Mysore Staged the "Shakespeare Swapna Novke" Written By H.S.Shivaprakash & Directed by Mime Ramesh in Vana Ranga, Rangayana, Mysore.

It was a great moment of my life. I got an opportunity to perform a leading role(Shakespeare) for the first in my life. Thanks to Mime Ramesh. He is the one who trusted me & helping me to perform better. He is one of the great Mime Artists in India. Though i have not performed to his expectation. I learned a lot from him. He is a dreamer & he really designs the scene very well in the play. He'll always try adopt the stylised approach to all Dramas which was directed by him.

All my co-actors, friends supported & cooperated well while doing the play. My thanks to Mr.Nagesh, who supported me in this regard, because without his support this would have not happen in my life. Mr.O.L.Nagabhushan gave us some important insights about the play while doing the rehearsals. My thanks to Mr.O.L.Nagabhushan, Prashanth Hiremat, Sushma, Ravi, Vishwas, Ramesh, Mallik, Hari, Vinay, Isla, Poorna, Srikanta & all other friends who gave valuable suggestion to me during rehearsals.

This production gave me the confidence & moral support to handle any character in future. Though i have been active in theater from last 10 years. I am not able to get the main role in any of previous productions in which I had acted (Except in "Gaggayyana Gdibidi" by Na.Kasturi, Directed by K.Venkataraju, Shantala Kalavidaru in Chamarajanagar).

Sincerely, I didn't read any of Shakespeare biography, his plays & sonnets due to lack of time, may be due to this I am not able to contribute all my energy to Shakespeare’s Character. But now I think i can read..............& i will get back to U all..........
